Nisus Gallery is pleased to present Land Girls, a show of new works by multi-media artist, Rebecca Shelly. Inspired by 1940s women’s fashion, Shelly critiques the social, political, and personal restrictions placed on women as they transitioned from the home to the workforce. Shelley creates a historical documentation of the time period through her recent exploration of garment construction and tailoring combined with her practice of painting and drawing.
