Nisus Gallery is pleased to present Altars To The Unknown, a solo exhibition and installation of new work by Eric Trine. The show opens Friday April 5, and the opening reception will be on Saturday April 13 from 6-9pm.

Eric Trine is a maker of things whose practice resides in the center of a triple venn diagram of art, craft, and design. He maintains a disciplined studio practice and his projects range from modern furniture to geometric sculptures with party balloons, all of which are rooted in the immediate pleasure of construction and making. Eric attended an arts high school where he studied set design and as an undergraduate he focused on ceramics, painting, and art history. Currently, he is finishing his thesis (a furniture collection) for his MFA in Applied Craft & Design.
