Nisus Gallery is pleased to present Body Conference, a solo exhibition of letterpress-printed and hand-sewn works by Ashley Chambers. Chambers is a writer and artist living in Tuscaloosa, where she is an MFA candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Alabama. Body Conference explores the embodied relationship between writing, letterpress self-publishing, and performance. Chambers’ work, including “The Spooky Talk” and “So You Wanna Play Dreambeasts With Me?” invites the visual reader and listener to ask questions about what it means to be confined to (and then freed from) self-expression. “It is through letterpress printing and live performance,” Chambers says, “both acts of the blood and bones, that I’m finally allowed to see and hear my stories resound in spheres neither here nor there.” Check and find  best heating service temecula .
